Libraries Staff News
The Libraries have welcomed several new members to our staff in the past few months.
New staff in Information Technology:
- John Huang, Computer Systems Manager, joined the staff in June 2005. John is a graduate of Pitzer College.
- Liana Judo, Web Applications Developer, joined the staff in July 2005.
- Joshua Kline, Web Applications Developer, joined the staff in August 2005. Josh is a graduate of Pitzer College.
- Pat Vince, Digital Initiatives Librarian, joined the staff in August 2005 to lead the development of the newly established Claremont Colleges Digital Library (CCDL). Before coming to Claremont, Pat was the Digital Project Manager for LOUIS: The Louisiana Library Network, a statewide initiative of the thirty-nine academic libraries in Louisiana.
- Michael Emery accepted the CCDL position of Digital Production Manager in March 2006. He transferred into this position from Special Collections, Honnold/Mudd Library, where he was the Digital Projects Coordinator.
- Warren Roberts, GIS Specialist, joined the staff in a part-time position through June 2006, to support GIS in the classroom and in research.
New staff in Access Services:
- Lucas Schulte became Weekend Coordinator for Honnold/Mudd Circulation in June 2005. He is a student at CGU in the Hebrew Bible program.
- Woo Taek Hong joined the staff as Interlibrary Loan Assistant in August 2005.
- Emily Taylor accepted a position as Materials Handling Assistant in October 2005. Emily also works in the Copy Center, Honnold/Mudd Library. She is a student at CGU.
New staff in Information, Reference, & Instruction Services:
- Rory Reiff joined the staff as Publications Coordinator in December 2005.
- Sanjeet-Singh Mann joined the staff as Electronic Resources Intern in December 2005. Sanjeet-Singh is a graduate of Pomona College.
- Jennifer Bidwell began as a Library Assistant in February 2006. Jennifer is a student at CGU in history.
