Math & Physics Faculty, Meet Your Librarian!

Jezmynne Amergin, Libraries' Subject Specialist for math and physics, will be at the Hub in Emett Student Center at Claremont McKenna College from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., on Thursday, November 21st. If you haven't already met her, look for the table tent with her name. Take this opportunity to get to know the librarian who can order library materials for you, work with your students, and be your advocate within the Libraries.

The Diary of Anne Frank

In conjunction with a Discourse Series lecture, the Gould Center is sponsoring a screening of the film, "The Diary of Anne Frank," in Pickford Auditorium, CMC, on Thursday, November 7, at 8 p.m. The lecture, "Hollywood and the Holocaust: The Case of 'The Diary of Anne Frank,&" by James Morrison, Professor of Literature and Film, Claremont Mckenna College, will take place on Wednesday, November 13th, at 4:15 p.m., in Honnold/Mudd Library.

Carrie Marsh Moves to Special Collections

Last spring, the Libraries celebrated the retirement of Special Collections Librarian Jean Beckner, who began working at the Libraries in 1967. Upon Jean's retirement, Carrie Marsh moved into the position of full-time Honnold/Mudd Special Collections Librarian. Carrie, reference librarian at Denison Library since 1991, shared responsibilities between Denison and H/M Special Collections for many years and is active currently in preservation and digitization projects for those collections.
