In 2006 the musical world celebrates the 250th birthday of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In recognition of his legacy, Honnold/Mudd Library features an exhibit of facsimiles of his autograph scores dating from his first keyboard compositions to the Requiem. The exhibit also includes information about the Mozart conference to be held at Scripps College March 24-26.

Movies That Ape Other Movies
March 6 - March 31
Honnold/Mudd Library

King Kong, Planet of the Apes, Mighty Joe Young - what do these movies have in common? Apes, yes, but each has a remake (or remakes) that has “aped” an earlier version. This exhibit showcases not only specimens of simian cinema but remakes of all species, including musicals, comedies, science fiction, and horror.

This exhibit also features an exhibit of “Staff Picks,” films our library staff members find particularly enjoyable.
