Library staff will be glad to provide general library orientation and tours, to help locate information and materials, and to assist in the use of computer equipment. Staff will make every effort to assist you in obtaining information from resources and in retrieving materials from our collections. Please identify yourself and your need when you seek assistance so that we may accommodate your request.

Retrieving materials
If you find that library stacks or equipment are inaccessible to you, please ask library staff for assistance. If immediate paging of materials is not possible, staff may make arrangements with you for pick up of the materials the following work day.
Book renewal
Books may be renewed in person, by telephone or may be self-renewed through Blais, the Libraries' online catalog. Ask at any service desk for instructions or view the book renewal information online.
Photocopying materials
If you are unable to use a photocopier, please ask staff for assistance. Bring materials to be photocopied and a copier card with sufficient value to make the copies to a service desk, and staff will make copies for you. We cannot accept cash. If staff are unable to leave the service desk to make copies for you immediately, you may leave your request for pick up the following day. All photocopy requests must be in compliance with U.S. Copyright Law. Also, the Copy Center in Honnold/Mudd offers 24-hour turnaround time copying.
Proxy Card
If needed, you may designate an individual to borrow books in your name. Please have your college notify the Circulation Department of your eligibility for this service. The designated individual will be issued a "Proxy Card" for this purpose. Please check with the Circulation Desk at Honnold/Mudd for further information.
Computers
A wheelchair-accessible computer workstation is available in the Keck Learning Room in Honnold/Mudd Library. Assistive listening devices and screen font enhancement capability will also be available in the Keck Learning Room.
