Accessing electronic resources when off campus

Many of the resources linked from the Libraries web site are available only to the students, faculty, and staff of The Claremont Colleges. This is the method for accessing these resources while away from campus:

Log in using your Library Account

  • When prompted, enter your 10-digit ID number as it appears on the front of your identification card. Do not include the dash.
  • Type your last name in the second box, then click "Submit."
  • If you are unable to log in, it is likely that you do not have an active library account. All student accounts have been activated. Faculty and staff who need to activate their accounts should visit one of the Libraries.

Some databases are only available in certain locations. These are indicated with one of the following descriptions:

  • Available only to users in the search centers of the Libraries. You can access these databases from the search centers in any of the four Libraries, but they are not accessible outside the Libraries.
  • Available only in the Honnold/Mudd search center. You can access these databases only on special workstations available in the Honnold/Mudd Library.
  • Available only in the Denison search center. You can access these databases only on special workstations available at Denison.
